Training

On the basis of national and European research MEIOR wants to develop a general training concept that includes training materials based on case studies focussing on structures (WHO-WHAT-HOW) of judicial scrutiny as well as informational tools (fact sheets) for quick identification of the judicial authority in other MS (WHO).

These materials and fact sheets will be translated into national languages for judicial authorities and defence lawyers in Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Spain and Italy.

National training events in Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Spain and Italy will give practitioners insight into the rules and mechanisms of judicial scrutiny of different investigative measures in the other MS and thereby foster the mutual trust that is essential for the proper functioning of judicial cooperation.

The five national versions of the training module and their employment in national training events represent the pilot for an EU wide application of the training modules.
