Training

On the basis of national and European research MEIOR has developed a general training concept that includes training materials based on case studies focusing on structures (WHO-WHAT-HOW) of judicial scrutiny, as well as  the guidelines and proposals developed in response to the research undertaken by the MEIOR project partners.

These materials and fact sheets will be translated into national languages for judicial authorities and defence lawyers in Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Spain and Italy.

National training events held in Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Spain and Italy, meanwhile, gave practitioners insight into the rules and mechanisms of judicial scrutiny of different investigative measures in the other MS and thereby foster the mutual trust that is essential for the proper functioning of judicial cooperation.

The five national versions of the training module and their employment in national training events represent the pilot for an EU wide application of the training modules.
